Southern Breakfast thing

So .... today I learned the following from a Southerner (for a Yankee)
Fry loose sausage.
Mix up container of corn bread mix.
Put the cooked sausage on the bottom of a pan (prob 9x9)
Pour the prepared mix on top.
Bake.
Drizzle with Maple syrup and enjoy!
