I have a pending registration in CRNBC and was told to take the SEC soon. I'm not sure what will be my next step after SEC? I'm currently working as a staff nurse for over 3 yrs now and I'm hoping to pass the SEC and eventually allowed to take the CRNE. I've heard some RNs are advised by CRNBC to study more for 2 yrs in Canada after taking the SEC before they are allowed to take the CRNE.I hope to hear the truth regarding this matter.
