Hi, I recently moved to Arizona form Indiana due to my husband's job transfer. I am a foreign nursing graduate from the UK, have passed the CGFNS exam and the NCLEX 20 years ago and have been working as a registered nurse in Indiana for the past 20 years. I have submitted all documentation to the Arizona state board of nursing 4 weeks ago but it seems they need proof of my education from the UK from a third party, this could take weeks to obtain and is very expensive, has anyone had similar experiences out there and if so how did you negotiate it? My main frustration is that the scool of nursing I attended is no longer in existence so I am not sure where they are going to obtain the information they need. I didn't need to submit this kind of information for my Indiana license, just had to pass the NCLEX and Certificate for foreign nursing graduates.
If anyone has had similar experiences I would love to here how you negotiated them.
Many thanks.
