Hi everyone! I wanted to share my blog with everyone in hopes your feedback can help me become a better nurse.

I'm currently orienting to a new flight nurse position and (obviously) I have a lot to learn! One thing I'm doing is keeping a blog of my orientation and trying to turn it into an online journal of everything I experience as well as a place I can write down all the information being thrown my way. I'm posting write-ups on everything from STEMI management to various meds to helicopter safety. Ideally I'd love to have many people reading the posts and posting their own experiences and advice, turning a random post on albuterol (stilloutofbreath[dot]blogspot[dot]com...potassium[dot]html) into a great discussion about the merits and pitfalls of potassium management.

So please check it out and spread the word. I hope my experiences can help others interested in flight, emergency, and critical care nursing, and that your comments help me become a better flight nurse!
