Exclamation Looking for oncology nursing stories

I'm starting work on a project and am trying to collect real life stories from oncology nurses. I'm looking for all types, the inspirational, the heartbreaking, what keeps us going, the patients we will never forget and why, why we chose oncology, funny happenings, times we went above and beyond, grieving, patients who made it and those we comforted as they died. My e-mail is mrstutrn and it's a hotmail account. I'm going to start an e-mail list of everyone who contributes and keep you updated on my project. My hope is to eventually get a book published in honor and recognition of oncology nurses and patients. If you submit a story, please do not include any identifying details such as real name or detailed health history. If your story is chosen I'll send a release form for you to sign and return.Thank you so much and I look forward to any and all submissions!

I was an Oncology nurse for 28 years and I have lots of memories. I am glad that I read your entire post as I am now trying very hard to re enter the profession as having been off for a couple of years. But I can share this with you, I would never sign a release dis entitling me to compensation for something that you will profit from. How about getting a job in Oncology and sharing your own stories.
