Default How to report allnurses for taking your money

If you have paid for a membership at allnurses and they have subsequently banned you and you have received recurring charges, please report them to the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota. They can be found by doing a search on the BBB-Minnesota site. They are listed as allnurses.com, Inc.

I know there are many out there with this complaint. Let's not let this continue.

Why not just talk to your bank and tell them to stop making the auto withdrawals/debits. I had to do that with a firm that gives monthly credit reports - monitored all 3 credit companies.

One would think that informing the bank or credit card company to stop further unauthorized withdrawals would be sufficient. One of those credit reporting companies started taking money from me every month and after several contacts with the credit card company, they refuse to stop the withdrawals. So, if I want them to stop I have to close out the credit card. I think that is the general idea. Paypal (deals with AN) is not better. You have to close out the Paypal account to get them to stop the withdrawals, at least that is my experience. This is one of the major reasons why I usually refuse to enter into these "automatic withdrawal" bill paying or purchasing schemes.

Why any Nurse would pay money to a site like this is beyond my comprehension to begin with.

I think authorizing automatic-withdrawals to any entity, be it a charitable organization, government undertaking or private institution is a very bad practice for the owner of the account. You might as well hand them over your car-keys, deed to your house and solely bequeth them in your will.
Just like PWhite has said, "this is beyond my comprehension" too.

Does allnurses use PayPal? You'd potentially have to turn off the recurring payment through them. I do not think there is a cancel payment from a member banned in vBulletin; so they (or you) would need to initiate that through the payment service they use.

I can't believe this would be a willful intent to take money from someone who was uninvited from their forum; you should easily get your money back and be able to cancel the payment.

I can see if you pay a professional head hunting company to find you a job but it should be a one time fee otherwise they obvioulsy would take advantage of or could take advantage of. You have a resume, let them post it, talk to a rep from the company, If they didnt find you a job in a reasonable amount of time..something fishy..hmmm..could it be because they want to keep the credit card payments comming in..hmmm..sounds weird..have to be careful of things like that. Also if you have a normal credit card company it sounds really strange that if you called them directly and specifically told them to no longer pay these people than why would they? Strange..I would cancel the card right away and my member ship with the company then..I once joined a nursing thing online to help find employemnt and all of they jobs they sent me where jobs I could of found by surfing the web myself and job posts..I mean..just its more work..thats all.

Looks like AllNurses is the site of the month. Reporting them to the BBB may not help you with payments, but it will tarnish their reputation, and enough complaints to the BBB is never a good thing for them.

I hope that they didn't lost them minds on this way to not return the monthly fee and stop the charging for the ones that they banned. I was on that position and them was fair with me returned my premium fee membership...unfortunately AN lost the control on doing good untwisted true thinks long time ago...
