Hello,

i was doing some investigation into private nursing schools as an ultimate fall back plan in today's competitive academic society. the closest one to me would be carrington (formerly apollo).

a few questions from those more experienced than i:

Is there any disadvantage to attending one of these private schools when being considered for a job later on? (besides paying out the rear.)
The reason i ask is because i have heard that with other degree's, people look at it like money got you into school and not skill so they are less willing to hire you.

Does anyone have personal experience with this or any other private nursing school?

Are Private schools always accredited by the right associations(carrington specifically)?

Are there people on here that have had to go that route because they couldnt get into a nursing program locally/publicly?

thanks in advance for the help given!
