Question Ideas needed for new peds class...

Good morning! In a few short weeks I will teaching my first pediatrics course in a BSN program! I am trying to find some group activities that would be fun and education for my students to do. Any suggestions as to what you did or do would be greatly appreciated.

It's probably too late for feedback, but as a former teacher I always found that small group activities were only worthwhile if you made time for the students to gather together and discuss what knowledge they gained as a whole class. It can be hard, too, because there are always some students who won't participate at all, and others who end up doing all the work. I would suggest having them write or work silently for five minutes or so to come up with ideas on their own, then they each have to bring in one idea to the small group. Does that make sense? Message me if you have any more questions about pedagogical approaches.
