The Indian Health Service awarded a $1.7 million, 5-year grant to the Arizona State University College of Nursing and Healthcare Innovation in Phoenix to continue The American Indian Students United for Nursing Project. The Arizona Board of Nursing says 559 RNs identify themselves as American Indians of the 65,582 active Arizona RNs.
