honey apple pie

1/3 cup honey

2 T sugar

2 T cornstarch

2 T melted butter

1 teas cinamon

dash salt

6 to 8 peeled and chopped apples, about 7 1/2 cups

2 pastry pie crust (make "easy pie crust" recipe! It makes two, exactly what's needed plus garnishing dough)

1 beaten egg to brush dough.

Prepare 9 inch pie plate by greasing/flouring and line with pie dough

combine all ingredients and pour into 9 inch pie plate.

Top with remaining pie pastry/dough and brush top with egg/water.

....cover edge with foil to prevent burning.
