    Question Newbie

    Hello Everyone!

I am a resident of Phoenix, AZ, in my early 50's with a Bachelor's in Marketing, a Master's in Education, work experience in education, immigration law and non-profits. I'd like to get into the health care field in a job that will use my brain, my heart and my energy. I have been looking at respiratory therapy programs (associates degree) which look like they would get me into the field fairly quickly and into a job where there is demand and which will provide opportunities. The question of the day is.... should I consider nursing instead? I am smart, a quick learner and a hard worker but concerned about running into age discrimination when I get out of school. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

    Thank you!

Welcome to the site. Think you will find greater opportunities for employment with a degree and license in nursing.
