Okay, who sent me the PM? I tried to write back but whoever it was got banned again.

For non-ANers, my name is Tazzi and I'm in California. I'm an old ER nurse who jumped ship last year and went into Home Health. I am married with three kids: 20, 18, and 4. The 20-yr-old won't leave home, the 18-yr-old left too soon, and the 4-yr-old was a surprise package. At the moment we are petless but in the near future will be enriching our household with two more feline babies.

Dutchie, I wondered where you were! I thought you had just taken a break, I didn't realize you were semi-banned.

Hi ya Tazzi, it's good to see you. No, not taking a break. I've always loved AN but things have changed and I'm really not sure why?

I'll tell you what I find so interesting. I got 2 e-mails today from friends on AN who told me that they had received the PM invitation to this site but that it had been altered to read www.nursebegone.com so that tells me that they can and do read the PM's. Wow, talk about invasion of privacy. I thought PM meant private messaging! Guess not. That blew me away! and really disappoints me about them. These members were already over here before me (with different names) so they knew the real address.

Hmm.......I got the real address, that's how I was able to check it out. I saw JoeNightingmale here so I PM'd him to ask about the site. I just want to know who the invite came from!!

My sister is an IT geek and she says that all forums have that ability, it's a way of making sure that spam bots (not even sure what they are) don't spam via the private message

Soo............the mods change the contents of the message but don't delete the message?

Hi you know me with a different name. I was banned from AN along with several other regulars for utterly ridiculous reasons. i.e. Not having a link to quoted material. No warning, just banned. Another PM'd a new member one sentence telling her she didn't believe she was actually a nurse. There is a new group www.nursebegone.com go under the community tab and select nurse to nurse. You will be surprised to see many of our friends, premium and platinum members there. It is a nice relaxed site and no worries about voicing your opinion or being afraid you'll get hit with points or like others banned for no good reason. It's been very tense on AN. We were relieved to find out we're not the only ones feeling uncomforable/fearful posting on AN. Come on over and join us!

She didn't see it until the next morning so evidently those who were on line at the time got the real link, those who weren't, their PM was altered.

That's pretty low to be reading people's private messages. They must really have sad, boring lives. They banned me for stupid stuff but I am glad they did. I can't stand people that behave like they have. This is a free country, it is not Nazi Germany. I think the moderaters at AN are abusing the power that they have and I truley believe that they will all pay for their behavior as everything we do in life we pay for. You give evil you get evil. You do good things, you get good things.
