I quit nursing 7 years ago and became a very happy stay at home mom. Now that my 3 kids are getting older I am thinking of adding a little of proffesionalism to my life but I know that I do not want to return to hospital nursing. I am seriously considering becoming a childbirth educator and hope to hear from you guys any thoughts/experience etc. I have 7 years experience in the OB/Gyn field.
I found out about a B.A.B.E. (Birth and Beginings Education) course to be held in my town soon. It is held by the Academy of Certified Birth Educators (ACBE).
Did anyone take a course from this organization?
I am also considering becoming a pre and post natal fitness instructor. I found out about "dancing thru pregnancy. Did anyone take this class or know of any other course?
Any input would be highly appreciated .
