ITA on the ignore and taking the board back. I too was thinking of Chuck recently and absolutely Loved reading his posts! His insight and humor were priceless

Really nice to see so many oltimers.

Prayers for everyone.....BlueBear, especially for you and child. I am so sorry to hear of this. To the caretakers, a special blessing upon your households.

Scroll on and ignore on. This too shall pass!

One of my favorite times from the past was when we were sharing recipes.

I printed most of them out and thanks to the posters on this BB have fed many people great meals/dishes over the years.

I can't say that I love to cook, but I can say that I LOVE to "play with food" and have been collecting recipes for years.

It recently occurred to me that following a recipe is a lot like following procedures at work....LOL!

A little of this combined with a little of that, carefully prepared makes things better...LOL.

One of my favorite threads was the "Nurses Who Lunch" column of a few years ago.

I started coming to this board when Gerry was coming close to the end of her life. She was a warm & kind person. I used to love Chuck's wonderful sense of humor and enoyed his posts thoroughly. I don't know how I would have gotten through my back injury and subsequent failed surgery ( and loss of job) without all the encouragemnet and prayers. I stopped coming here because of the strife and the new- old format. Formerly known as CathRN. I haven't been here in several weeks. I stop in and lurk every once in a while. Hopefully the board will come back together.

Hi Tigerlily. Like you, I was around when Gerry was ill. What a sweet lady. I also miss Chuck's wit. Why did he stop posting? I don't remember the details. I often thought what a great writer he would have made. He did have a way with words.

Scarp isn't ignoring anything and I've reported one of her posts. No one but me seems to see how things calm down here and then she starts troule again. This time I want Michael to se it. You're already joining in Jeepers and LAHRN.

Alrighty then a par-tay! They were always so much fun! Let's celebrate the Counselor's great success at being sworn to the Bar today! (er actually yesterday since it's Wednesday already).

BB-glad to see you back but I retired those boots when I got old and arthritic. But maybe I can dust them off and kick up my heels in Scarp's honor.

I'll have a glass of white merlot please.

And somehpow I never seemed to be the one to get that copper boiler-but that's OK cause I have no idea what to do with it anyway!!!

Happy Birthday Stella! Best wishes and many more.

Ryan, congrats to your daughter on her achievement and enjoy the graduation. And enjoy NY-although for the life of me I can't think of what there is to enjoy on Long Island!

Only kidding-I know some great people on Long Island-some are even on this board.

60 is good! Think of all the people who haven't been lucky enough to live that long. Each day I wake up is a gift to me.
