The first time I took the ANCC Adult NP exam I failed by 5 questions. I took it last week and failed by 1 question. I have given up and applied for a job at a hospital as a med surg nurse. I had the Fitzgerald cds, the Leik and Millonig book and wore them out. Good paying jobs just keep rolling on by and I'm stuck in nowhere land. I don't hold a lot of hope but I applied for the new AGPCNP test for the $125...that's about all I could afford. I'm studying the outline from the test site but it's kind of vague. Doesn't look like it'll ever happen.
