Wow, I was just sitting and reading the Philadelphia Tri-State February 11, 2013 issue. I had reached the last page when I read an article by Sonique Sailsman about the virtual classroom. I am currently a student at Grand Canyon University's online Master's Program. I will receive my M.S.N. in Health Informatics in May. This article was inspiration for me because I never believe that I woulb be continuing my education in the online forum. But after 18 months my dream is now becoming a reality. At first I said to myself I don't know if this is the best way to go, but after completing a few courses online I felt comfortable, confident and I had becomed disciplined. I shocked myself. As Sonique stated in her article, " I felt lonely and isolated", but not for long the instructors and my fellow students at Grand Canyon changed all of that for me. After many meaningful responses and numerous assigments, scholarly articles, many long and sleepless nights I have come to the end of my journey. I am in total agreement with Sonique pursuing an online nursing education is very flexible and allows you to use your creativity in the advancing your educational endeavors.
