Smile Just saying hello to the community, then a question in the forum :-)

Hello, my name is Cathi (kinda obvious;-) I have been an LPN for many, many years... I'm thinking of doing a bridge program, and looking for the best one....

Thanks in advance to anyone with any information...

There are many to choose from, it will depend on you mostly because what are some of the factors that you are looking for the bridge program that you would want to enroll in? Would you be doing it on a campus or online nursing school? You need to think about those things when you want to decide on taking your bridge program.

    Hello Cathi,
One of our really hard working "Real Nurses". Not enough credit is given to LPNs. But on that note, congrats on the decision to continue your education. There are so many programs out there........ Just be careful if you are doing on-line courses (especially if it is out of your state where you will be living) that the program has a solid clinical set up for you. I know of a friend that was getting an advanced degree is psych nursing and choose a school that was not in her state. The school had her try to find a facility that would accept her to do her clinical. Not something they mentioned when she signed on! It was a BIG ordeal for her to find somewhere! Good Luck though. Like I said there are lots of good programs, I went to Glendale Community for my ADN and then on to a BSN program that was tied to the hospital I worked at back in Phoenix. Good programs!
