Hello! I am new to this community. I was seeking a site where I could talk to other nurses and possibly get some advice or pointers. I recently accepted a DON position in a small, private nursing facility. I was hoping that a nurse in LTC or management might be able to give some positive advice on how to approach my new role. I am learning so much about regulations, management and asserting myself as a leader. I have so much to learn but I feel up to the challenge. Any advice for my new venture?
