Hi, I am also new to this site. An introduction, graduated from a diploma school in 1973 and worked a floor until fired in 08. When you speak your mind and have worked continuously for 35 years you become an irritant to admin, so they created a way to get rid of me.No great loss (except for the excellent pay check!), burn out doesn't even describe where I was at. Now, I own my own business as a nurse homeopath. Something to think about for nurses who want to do what we were trained for, but can't in a hospital setting.
