Hi rcard217,

If you want a job in a hospital, you would need to take a Nurse Refresher Class. If a clinic RN, the jobs seem much fewer unless you strive for management. Figure out what area you'd like and have an information meeting with a person of their HR dept. - it would never hurt.

Howl ong have you been out of the nursing profession? Do you have a preference or nursing specialty? But my advice is to take some refresher classes so that you can familiarize and find out new things that are about nursing while you were gone. You can search the internet for possible classes.
