    Smile what malpractice insurance covers

    HI. Good day to everyone.
I have read through posts regarding malpractice insurance, but havent found my answer. I am aware of NSO and Proliability insurance. I am deciding between the two.
My question is....I live and work in Maryland as an LPN, but I will be working in NY for part of the 2013 year. My question is..if I buy my insurance in Maryland, am I still covered in NY? thank you for your help

I think it could be confirmed after you get an insurance agreement from your Maryland insurance company, as if they will pay for any claim or damages out side the city or in NY. Or weather their is any clause included in your insurance agreement, regarding the area or boundaries covered or not in your insurance agreement.

I think your insurance agent is the best person to answer this question. You don't have to purchase the policy to ask a question, agents know that by giving their time to work out policies they may not end up signing you if the policy doesn't work for what you need.
