Post LPN license pending explanation of convictions.

I've passed the NCLEX-PN but have been notified by the Maine Board of Nursing that my license status will depend on my explaining criminal convictions. I requested and received certified criminal records from three separate courts and am now at a standstill as to the approach. My convictions have to do with a problem with alcohol which I have been battling. It would not have been possible for me to make it through school while drinking (although I relapsed hard towards the end). My clinical evaluations are top-notch and I made a 4.0.

If anyone has experience with this type of situation some feedback would be much appreciated!
    Thanks.

No I have not. But I thing you should contact to your board authorities soon.

Sorry but I have no experience like this, although I hope that you would be able to find a way to get your license.

My suggestion is get into treatment and be clean and sober see if you can work out a plan with your state. Trying to explain away your convictions is not going to work.
