Compliance conference in a few days with LARA....

Hello, I am looking for any and all advice from nurses who have ever completed a telephone compliance conference with LARA (Michigan). I was served with an administrative complaint which stated I had violated a Michigan Public Health Code. I have a telephone compliance conference scheduled and I cannot afford to hire an attorney right now. I was working on a post cardiac cath unit. My patient was post cardiac cath and had a sheath removed from groin and I was monitoring the site for hematoma/complications.The allegation is that I reported off to an oncoming RN that my patient was stable and the groin site was soft with no hematoma or bleeding. My documentation that night was not the greatest to say the least, but this was definitely not the norm for me. The oncoming nurse told the manager that the patient had a 10cm hematoma. What I need issome support with this issue...any and all support would be appreciated.
