    Default Moving to Florida

Hi, I'm a nurse in NY and I am planning on moving to Florida. I would like to know what is the procedure for switching my NY license to a Florida License. Also if there are any nurses out there that went from New York to Florida, did you notice a big difference in pay? Anyone that went from a Union hospital to a non-union hospital? is it worth it? Thank you!!!

It cost me at least $1,500 to move just 90 miles. The moving company fee was a bargain at $600 (I'm single and have very little furniture) but there were other bills involved. If you're moving halfway across the country like NYC to Florida you're looking at thousands of dollars in relocation expenses. The bigger your house and the more stuff you have the worse it gets. Just making sure you're aware of this. I don't know how determined you are to move.
