Nurse Practitioner School

Hi everyone,

I'm currently an RN with almost 2 years experience; one year in med/surg and the rest in critical care. I'm interested in applying to an Adult Nurse Practitioner program however, one of the requirements is a statement of goals and objectives. I am still learning and really unsure where I want to be in the future regarding my career. The reason I've become interested in an NP program is I'm finding myself very intrigued by the diagnostic side of things, how the DR determines how the plan of care will be. Therefore, my question is what kind of goals and objectives are programs looking for?
