I'm sure it isn't easy. . .The unfortunate reality and potential problem for patients is; administration is utilizing the CNA as they had done R.N.'s; this to the detriment of hospitalized patients. CNA's do not have the wherewithal of R.N.'s, nor the extensive training of R.N.'s, nor are licensed and have the liability of R.N.'s. Considering that patients who actually do meet criteria for admission to hospitals; they indeed are in need of much more care than a CNA is capable of or is trained to deliver. However, CNA's do/can deliver on the "bottom line" perspective of hospitals/clinics. When one considers all the above; is it worth it? One error, it's the nurses license, not a CNA's, then also perhaps irrevocable harm for the patient. . . Consider this.
