I am a senior BSN student I started school knowing NP is where I wanted to go I have a 3.5 or so, my only HC experience is as an EMT years ago. I am 38 and my parents are in their mid 70s and in poor health so I need to go back close to them to help out after graduation. There is a good level 1 hospital near them but if I am to start NP school it will be online with clinicals at my workplace. OK thats it for long story background sorry My question is does anybody have suggestions for good online public university NP schools that do not require a year of exp. before application, I will have 2 years Critical care before I finish. I have heard bad things about the for profit schools that are advertizing everywhere so I would love to find a good "real University" that offers it online and without the long wait. Traveling to intensive for a few weeks each term is no problem. ANY IDEAS?? Thanks !!
