    Default Nursing abroad?

Does anyone know the process of becoming a nurse in another country if you're studying in the United States? I'm planning to live in Germany once I finish school, and it may be just as easy as finding a job when you're over there. Just didn't know if there were any hoops I needed to jump through. Any advice is appreciated!

If Germany is the country in which you are intend to work; it might be a good idea to contact the German Consulate. They would be able to provide you with information on educational/licensing requirements; also to information on work visas and other documentation that may be required. In the Midwest, the main/primary German Consulate is located in Chicago, Ill. I would also suggest going online and Googling the information that you seek. That would also apply to other countries as well; just find the respective Consulate. Hope this helps you. . .

How good you know the language? The german language is not so easy to learn if you wasn't at all exposed to it. And to work in german hospitals you need to know the language. Is another one possibility the US military hospitals in Germany...go and look on, I hope you are american citizen for this second choice, good luck!
