Help! my license is on hold by the state board of nursing, and I need to be informed of reasons why this could be before I call them. I've been a nurse for 35 yrs and this has never happened before to me. I paid my renewal fee and answered their online questionnaire back in Feb. My license expires April 30th... I would like to be aware of the possible reasons first, since this has me really upset.

Ha-Ha, I got up my courage and called the board. So I answered a question in the online questionnaire wrong by mistake, ( my typing skills not so good...) Would have been nice if they let me know. I accidentally asked for a name change! Nursing is indeed a stressful career!

Don't worry, it will come. As long as you can prove it has been paid for (the renewal) you are good to go. . .
