I am about to begin my nursing program to become and RN. While doing some research I've come across some information on Forensic Nursing and I'm very interested in this field. Does anyone know more about this? My school also offers an A.S. degree in Criminal Justice and I wonder if it may be a good idea to go ahead and start those classes because this is something I am very interested in. Any input appreciated!

I would suggest that you might also Google "Forensic Nursing." You will find quite a bit of information. All of what you find might not be pertinent to the area in which you live; however, it will point you in the direction you wish to pursue. . .

check Quinnipiac University, its in CT. When I was in school there they had a Forensic Nurse Practiner program- one of the few in the country
