Just wondering if anyone had feed back on the Sorian system. We are about to implement it into our Er and just looking for a little feedback. Thanks Jay
First of all, Welcome to the cite. Evidently, the Sorian system provides the facility where I work access to lab results, radiology and EKG reports, history & physical documentation, physician dictations, consults, physical therapy reports and more. In addition, the application flow has been improved resulting in more efficient retrieval of clinical information. Furthermore, the System has plans for future modules that include retrieval of an entire inpatient record, electronic signature capability and computerized order entry that can be accessible from virtually anywhere. Needless to say, the facility where I work is pretty exited in acquiring the next generation of Sorian System.... Aloha~
We have been using Sorian One Chart for several months now. At first, we found it hard getting used to not having a paper MAR, but we finally got used to the digital MAK and it became alot easier than we thought. One of the many things we like about it is that that the doctors have to put in their own orders (unless, of course, we got a telephone order), so gone were the days of trying to comprehend the docs handwriting and screwing up orders. It's cut down on paperwork and has been a big tool in helping with time management. Over the past few months we have found more and more things that we love about the system. At first, it may be a little overwhelming, but you will eventually love it!!
