I started my nursing career as a nurses assistant. Some of the best nurses that I have ever worked with started out from assistant and then through the ranks. I personally found that knowing the in and outs of lna and as lpn/Rn was extremely beneficial. It is good to know what every role is, and it reminds you that no matter what each job is, it is for the same reason ---The Patient. LNA'a work extremely hard, and never forget they are our eyes and ears on the floor. They can be the difference between a good outcome vs a very bad outcome. I hope this helps!
