I am almost 40, a mom of two young children, and became an RN in March of this year. I hold a BA and received an ADN. I have had a hard time finding a job in NJ, hospitals, they want experience. I send resumes with no response. I have even began knocking on doctor offices doors. I began substitute school nursing and love it BUT now I need to go back to get a certificate..These certificate programs require a BSN or you have to take 3 prerequisites before you can start the program or you need experience before you can apply.
I am very frustrated!
