I worked in the Psych field and am having trouble getting into an acute setting as well. I am being told that I am an experienced nurse so I don't fit the new grad category but I don't have experience in med surg so I don't qualify there either it is very frustrating. It has to do with the market being so tough right now. Good luck to us all
