first thing you need to do is update & polish your resume Hi-light your nursing accomplishments and send it to reputable travel nurse companies Companies like Favorite , Interim, white glove are three i can name of the top of my head If you need help with the resume go to a advance or nurse job fair usually they will review your resume for free and suggest changes or refinements. I have been laid of 3 times in the last ten years, I keep my resume up to date in case it happens again
