I was prompted to post this blog out of frustration. I am a nurse with a BSN, who has been away from the bedside(for 3 years) working in community health and am trying to return to the acute care setting. I have seen so many postings indicating nursing shortage...nursing shortage. I've seen so many postings for jobs I have applied for and they remain unfilled for MONTHS. My point is that I am available and willing to work....even willing to be part of a GN program if need be and I am hitting roadblocks. ...
