Hello Everyone,
I have 6 years of nursing experience: my first 3 years in med/surg and telemetry type floor nursing jobs and my last 3 years as a nurse in surgery. Since working in surgery is so different, I feel like I've lost my floor nursing skills and the experience that goes with it lies dormant to some degree. I want to become a nurse practitioner but wonder if I should try to get my bearings for floor nursing back first? Or, do my 6 years of different experiences make me ready? ...
