    I agree with apollo's post about nursing hourly rates in Florida. I have been an RN over half of my life and my hourly wage is very close to the high end of Apollo's company's range. Unfortunately, graduate nurses and nurses with less than 5 years experience typically start around 20.00 $$$ an hour in the panhandle. Hopefully it is higher in other areas of the state. Good luck.

    That would all depend on the clinical area you plan to work in, LTC, Med Surg, Dialysis etc. My company pays in the following range for experienced RNs 25.00 to 32.00 an hour depending on specialty. A new staff RN can expect to make maybe a couple bucks less an hour, somewhere in neighborhood of 24 hr. pay rates will vary greatly between a nursing home and hospital and also big differences between pay in metro areas vs. rural.
