I've finally decided to head in a different direction in nursing and I am excited about it. I want to become a certified legal nurse consultant. I am concerned about the availability of jobs in my area and where there is a need for one of these nurse specialists.
Can anyone out there give me any kind of information?

Hi. I have been an ortho neuro tele nurse for 7 years. I have to say the job keeps me on my toes and there is a lot of attention to detail yet I seem to forget important things on occasion. For example this last nite that I worked I missed an order that a patient was to be NPO for a swallowing study and a breakfast tray came up for him and he got fed. I guess I was focused on a new admission and a patient who was having severe head pain. I worked hard to get her pain under control and was successful.The ...
